We offer a wide selection of census data
products for Kansas state.
We have the following products:
Census 2000:
- CensusCD 2000/Short Form - with information
about race, age, gender, children, seniors and owning vs. renting
status
- CensusCD 2000/Short Form Blocks - the same
information as Short Form, but at the Census Block level - for a very detailed
view of Kansas state demographics
- CensusCD 2000/Redistricting - with a more
limited selection of information about race and age but more geographic
selections (i.e. school districts, voting districts, etc). This also includes
1990 Redistricting data for an easy time series analysis
- CensusCD 2000/Redistricting Blocks - with
same information as Redistricting, but at the Census Block level
- CensuSmart year 2001 - combines all 4 of
the above products at one low price
- CensusCD 2000/Long Form - this is due to be
released in October 2002
Census 1990:
- CensusCD 1990+Maps - this includes all 1990
Long Form data as well as County Times Series data; Estimates and Projections
for 2000/2005; and Consumer Expenditures. This product is only available at the
national level
- CensusCD 1990 Blocks - this has all
of the Long Form data for 1990 at the Census Block level.
Census 1980:
- CensusCD 1980 - this includes all 1980 Long
Form data. Data is available at the Block Group level and above, but the
country is not yet fully covered at the tract or block group level.
Census 1970:
- CensusCD 1970 - this includes all 1970 Long
Form data. Data is only available at the Census Tract level and above - the
country is not yet fully covered at the tract level.
CensusCD 40 Year Tract Series:
- CensusCD 40 Year Tract Series offers
selected Long Form variables for 4 decades of data (1970, 1980, 1990 and
Redistricting data for 2000). Data can be presented with either year-specific
boundaries or weighted and normalized to year 2000 boundaries. Data
normalization allows easy time series analysis with identical geographic
boundaries over time. For example, 1980 data in chart or map form with the true
1980 definitions, or redrawn using the 2000 boundary designations.

to choose from:

· Block group - available for 1980-1990-2000
· Block - available for 1990 and 2000
· MSA/CMSA - only available on some products
· MCD/CCD (Minor Civil Division/Census County Division)

· School District (elementary, secondary, unified) - only on some
products
· Voter district - only available on some products
· Zip code - only available on some products
